Hammonds Candies

Hammond's Candy Factory was opened by Carl T. Hammond, Sr., in 1920 as a small family business that has grown into an iconic brand with international distribution.  In 2007, Andrew Schuman purchased the company and doubled its size within four years.  During the tour, you will get an "up close and personal" look at how Hammonds' delicious candies are made, while learning about the company's history in the Mile High City. Wild West Walking Tour

This tour for the spouses will take you through the town of Golden, which boasts some of Colorado's first and oldest continually running establishments.  Though there are a few small grades on the tour, it is not a hike and there will be frequent stops along the way.
