CBFA Director of Marketing


It is because the CBFA offers valuable benefits for Christians interested in biblical integration in business that we promote the organization in a positive manner.  To this end, the Director of Marketing duties include:


  • Extending the CBFA’s brand awareness

  • Promoting the organization in a positive manner for members in both Christian and non-Christian colleges and universities

  • Overseeing both print and on-line promotions of the organization including but not limited to:

    • The CBFA Web site

    • Brochures

    • Promotional materials

    • Social media



  • Member in good standing with the CBFA

  • Expertise in marketing skills

  • Strong communication and relational skills

  • Ability to work closely with the CBFA Board and its associated committees


Selection Process

Selected by the CBFA Executive Committee and approved by the Board


Term of Service

  • The Marketing Director serves a three year term.

  • The term of office begins immediately following the annual business meeting.

  • At the discretion of the CBFA Board, the Marketing Director may serve additional consecutive three-year terms.



  • The Marketing Director is a non-voting member of the CBFA Board and represents the board on issues related to marketing functions of the organization

  • The Marketing Director is empowered by the Board to complete marketing functions



Develop and oversee marketing efforts of the organization, including, but not limited to:

  • Maintain oversight of all social media for the CBFA

  • Maintain oversight of registration of the CBFA logo and branding efforts of the organization

  • Oversee the role and activities of the database administrator

  • Oversee the role and activities of the web site administrator

  • Oversee the role and activities of the newsletter administrator

  • Oversee the role and activities of the virtual communications administrator


Strategic Plan Related Responsibilities

  • Create a standing Membership Development Committee chaired by a member of the Board of Directors. (M1.1.1)

  • To increase awareness and market penetration within CCCU institutions. (M1.2)

  • Identify and support a CBFA champion (cheerleader) on each campus currently involved with CBFA.  This person would keep the value of CBFA membership "in front of" current and potential members on his/her respective campus.  He/she would provide a friendly, personal, but unbiased, two-way communication conduit for CBFA. (M1.2.2)

  • To increase awareness and market penetration among Christian faculty within non-CCCU institutions. (M.3)
