CBFA Director of Publications
Position Description
The Program Chair's responsibilities include:

Attending fall and spring board meetings

Establishing milestones for conference program development

Managing the conference submissions process (establishing guidelines, conveying milestones and reviewing submissions)

Managing the submission review process (recruiting volunteers, assigning submissions, monitoring review submission with respect to deadline) as well as managing the moderator process

Making program recommendations and developing the programming schedule

Managing the Best Paper awards and Proceedings of the Conference
Qualifications
-
Member in good standing with the CBFA
-
Possess excellent organizational skills
-
Possess excellent spreadsheet and word processing skills
-
Have strong communication and relational skills
-
Be able to work closely with the CBFA Board and its associated committees
Selection Process
Selected by the CBFA Executive Committee and approved by the Board.
Term of Service
-
The CBFA Program Chair serves a three year term.
-
The term of office begins in October 2020.
-
At the discretion of the CBFA Board, the CBFA Program Chair may serve additional consecutive three-year terms.
