CBFA Treasurer

Position Description

The Board Treasurer's responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining the receipts, disbursements, and financial record-keeping and reporting of the Association

  • Developing the Association budget for board approval

  • Preparing and presenting a financial report to the board at board meetings

  • Preparing and presenting a financial report to the membership at the annual business meeting

  • Serving on the Investment Committee of the Association

Qualifications

  • Member in good standing with CBFA

  • Strong knowledge of accounting and financial statement preparation

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Excellent analytical abilities, spreadsheet knowledge and word processing skills

  • Strong communication and relational skills

  • Able to work closely with the CBFA Board and its associated committees

Terms of Service

  • The CBFA Treasurer serves a three-year term.

  • The term of office begins in October 2021.

  • At the discretion of the CBFA Board, the CBFA Treasurer may serve additional consecutive three-year terms.

Selection Process

Selected by the CBFA Executive Committee and approved by the Board.
