CBFA Program Chair
Position Description
The Program Chair's responsibilities include:

Attending fall and spring board meetings

Establishing milestones for conference program development

Managing the conference submissions process (establishing guidelines, conveying milestones, and reviewing submissions)

Managing the submission review process (recruiting volunteers, assigning submissions, monitoring review submission with respect to deadline) as well as managing the moderator process
-
Making program recommendations and developing program schedule
-
Managing the Best Paper awards and Proceedings of the Conference

Qualifications

Member in good standing with the CBFA
-
Possesses excellent organizational skills
-
Possesses excellent spreadsheet and word processing skills
-
Has strong communication and relational skills
-
Able to work closely with the CBFA Board and its associated committees

Selection Process
-
Selected by the CBFA Executive Committee and approved by the Board
​
Terms of Service
-
Three-year term
-
Term begins in October
-
At the discretion of the CBFA Board, the CBFA Secretary may serve additional consecutive three-year terms
